The Plant Barn

The Plant Barn located off the midway between Chico and Durham is a "full service" nursery offering more than just plants, including a gift shop, plant rentals, classes, and an annual summer garden soiree. The exceptionally friendly staff of the Plant Barn truly love what they do and will gladly help you navigate their extensive green houses and answer questions.
Also of note, the Plant Barn is the oldest locally owned garden center in Chico. Its current owner, Denise Kelly, purchased the plant barn in 2006 and has continued to grow the garden center's loyal following. Denise has left her personal touch on the Plant Barn by offering gardening resources on her website and creating a Facebook page where plant enthusiasts can share tips. A Chico resident for over 25 years, Denise dreamed of owning The Plant Barn and has continued to grow the nursery in physical ways as well, acquiring an acre of new space for more flowers to grow!
